Position Overview
As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Mon 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Tue 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Wed 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Thur 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and public activity to help support order and compliance with location rules and posted requirements.
- Assist with documenting daily activity, incident information, and other required reports, while communicating professionally with site contacts, law enforcement personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
