• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining a professional armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, classrooms, administrative areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, report suspicious activity, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Support campus operations by assisting with security‑related checks, directional assistance, and communication with local authorities and/or site contacts when needed.

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
