Security Officer Armed CPO Driver Patrol

$23.75 / Hour

Full Time

Mon–Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help enforce location rules, and address trespassing, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
• Support emergency and after-hours operations by assisting with alarms, escorts, lock and unlock procedures, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or first responders when needed.

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
