Security Officer Reception Desk

Pay Rate: $17.35 / Hour

• Tuesdays: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Wednesdays: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Thursdays: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Fridays: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturs: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, managing access to the front desk area, and following site-specific procedures for a government location.
• Monitor front desk activity, answer questions, direct employees and visitors to the appropriate destination, and document arrivals, departures, and/or unusual activity in required logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support security‑related procedures by screening visitors, issuing temporary badges or access materials, receiving deliveries, and helping to track property brought into and out of the location.
• Complete routine reports and front desk records, observe lobby and entry activity, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
