What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed concerns to the appropriate personnel.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or operational concerns.

* Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, assist with visitor directions, and support site protocols for patients, staff, and vendors.

* Document incidents, daily activities, and unusual observations, and communicate clearly with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Hospital positions require vaccines.

* This hospital position may involve work in the morgue.

* Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

* This hospital position requires the ability to restrain individuals.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
