As a Hospital Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare areas, helping to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observed concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related or operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help control access, assist with visitor directions, and support site protocols for patients, staff, and vendors.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and unusual observations, and communicate clearly with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hospital positions require vaccines.
• This hospital position may involve work in the morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• This hospital position requires the ability to restrain individuals.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
