Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Thur: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Fri: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access control activities, and other security‑related policies for a government location.
• Screen visitors, staff, and permitted items at designated entry points while following post orders and documenting required information.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with supervisors and/or appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and adjacent public areas to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter when appropriate, noting conditions and reporting concerns according to site procedures.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
