As a Security Officer Armed CPO Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and check credentials as required, assisting with visitor direction, traffic flow, and the reporting of suspicious activity.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
- A CPO is required.
- An armed guard card is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Minimum of 2 year of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
