As a Security Officer Screening Compliance in West Palm Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening visitors and belongings, verifying credentials, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service while helping to deter incidents through a visible, approachable presence.

Job Schedule:

• Tue – 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed – 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur – 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri – 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies at a government facility.
• Screen individuals and belongings using designated screening equipment and procedures, identifying prohibited items or irregularities and reporting findings according to established protocols.
• Control access to designated areas by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and maintaining accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious conditions.

• Possess at least 3 years of combined corrections, law enforcement, military, and/or 7 years of security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
