As a Security Officer Medical Center Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Full Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

- Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Thu 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
- Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor authorization, and maintaining awareness of restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
- Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
