- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, and/or staff.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate facility personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be able to restrain individuals.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
