Drywall Foreman - WPB

Position Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in the installation and supervision of metal framing & drywall.
• Managing field staff to ensure quality and productivity on projects.
• Adherence to and responsibility for company safety program.
• Ability to read blueprints (layout preferred, but not required).

• Must be able to read/understand blueprints and the job field kit.
• Foreman must be able to coordinate with other trades and the GC to maintain the project schedule.
• Must be able to build and maintain project labor to complete project schedule.
• Must be able to lay out the project.
• Order necessary materials from purchasing agent.
• Hold necessary/required on-site meetings with subcontractors and in-house labor.
• Keep all necessary job records required by Lotspeich and the customer.
• Must be able to verify quantities and hours for labor payment.
• Have a working relationship with other foremen / superintendents of the customer and subcontractors.
• Must be able to document the changes and send field RFIs.
• Must be resourceful and self-reliant to overcome job site obstacles.
• Have OSHA certification for using equipment (boom and scissor lift) or tools.
• Must be a “competent person” for the purpose of inspecting scaffolds (OSHA certified).
• Must have taken the OSHA 10‑hour safety course.

Directly supervises field employees in the Interior Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
