Job Summary

We are looking for a residential & light commercial woodwork painter to join our team! You will prepare and perform professional exterior and interior finishing/painting jobs in residential and light commercial settings.

Experience is not required as you'll learn on the job. A desire to learn and to take pride in delivering a quality service to customers is a must. A positive attitude is also a must.

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques.
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed.
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary.
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired consistency and drying properties.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair and woodworking.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.
