- Adheres to AKA Image Requirements policy.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.
- Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
- Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems and make minor repairs and/or replacement.
- Assist in checking and making routine repairs and assist on major repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, and HVAC.
- Maintain the building exterior and “curb appeal”.
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral).
- Proven strong background in Maintenance and/or Room Operations.
- General Maintenance
Skills:
plumbing, electric, carpentry, and appliance repairs. - Ability to troubleshoot internet enabled areas and devices.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of one to two years of maintenance experience.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Able to push/pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves intermittently during working hours.
- Able to work with chemicals.
