What You'll DoAs a Commercial HVAC Installation Crew Lead, you'll perform hands-on commercial HVAC installation work while helping oversee daily jobsite operations on reroofing projects, rooftop equipment replacements, mechanical upgrades, and commercial construction projects. You'll work alongside installation crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards while helping maintain schedules and delivering quality workmanship.

Your responsibilities will include installing rooftop units, curbs, roof penetrations, AC stands, ductwork, and other commercial HVAC equipment, coordinating daily work activities with project managers and subcontractors, assisting with material planning, monitoring job progress, conducting quality inspections, identifying and resolving field issues, and helping maintain safe, organized jobsites.

You'll also mentor less experienced installers, provide technical guidance when needed, communicate project updates with leadership, and help ensure installations meet project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building codes.

What We're Looking For We're seeking HVAC professionals with at least three years of commercial HVAC installation or mechanical construction experience. Candidates should have hands-on experience installing rooftop units, mechanical equipment, roof curbs, ductwork, and related commercial HVAC systems.

Previous experience serving as a lead installer, crew leader, foreman, or mentoring other technicians is highly preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on rooftops, coordinating field activities, solving problems, and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Applicants should be able to read construction drawings, coordinate with multiple trades, communicate effectively with project managers and field personnel, and manage changing priorities throughout the construction process.

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
