Service Technician II

Securitas Technology is seeking a Service Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic security and life safety systems for commercial and enterprise clients. You will service video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and related monitoring technologies, ensuring systems operate safely and reliably. Responsibilities include site diagnostics, equipment upgrades, configuration, testing, and documentation. You'll collaborate with engineers, project teams, and customers, follow safety and compliance standards, and support continuous improvement while growing your technical skills in a global, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain electronic security and life safety systems
• Diagnose and repair video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems
• Perform system testing, configuration, and verification of proper operation
• Complete service documentation, reports, and asset records accurately
• Provide on-site technical support and training to customers as needed
• Follow all safety, security, and compliance standards on each job site
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and monitoring teams
• Identify and recommend system upgrades or improvements
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent service requests
• Support continuous improvement of service processes and best practices
