Job Summary
The Visitation Program Monitor provides direct supervision of visitation between children and their parents and/or other family members.
Responsibilities- Monitor supervised visitations between children and their parents and other family members. Visitation may be conducted in visitation rooms or in other locations in the community.
- Ensure appropriate interactions between family and children during supervised visits.
- Document in the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) the outcome of all visitations that are scheduled within 48 hours of the completed visitation.
- Respond to incoming e-mails and phone calls.
- Contact case management staff with any concerns and/or pertinent information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Respond promptly to communications either from e-mails or phone calls.
- Contact staff as needed to maintain client files and provide needed information.
- Recognize, respect and respond to the unique, culturally defined needs of persons and families serviced.
- One (1) year of experience in Social Services required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Valid Florida state issued driver's license and insurance required.
- Operate own vehicle safely, observing all rules of the road to ensure safety and wellbeing of individuals in the vehicle.
Part Time Regular role – Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, FL, US.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 2pm – 7pm;
Sunday 10am – 2pm.
