This position is responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Implements and administers programs, services and activities for members in an effective and engaging manner. Assist the Community Center Director with the planning, coordination, and execution of special recognition programs and initiatives, including Youth of Year and Youth of the Month, ensuring participants receive meaningful opportunities for leadership, personal development, and achievement.
- Monitors and evaluates programs, services, and activities to ensure the safety and well-being of all members while maintaining high-quality programming and a clean organized, and welcoming, branch environment standards and support a positive experience for members, families, and visitors at all times.
- Assists with the creation and implementation of a class curriculum that supports the development of each youth and promotes and stimulates program participation.
- Assists with registration of new members, explains programs’ expectations, and participates in their orientation process. Provides ongoing guidance, support, and positive role modeling to members.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor recreational environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and
- previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred
- or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Maintaining current DCF and Safe From Harm trainings requirements.
