Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday–Friday (M-Th: 8AM-5:30PM/Fri: 8AM-12PM)

Pay: up to $23.39 per hour commensurate with experience

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a dedicated Family Services Specialist - Front Desk to advocate for families and help them access essential early learning programs and services. What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
• Monitor lobby traffic and wait times and assist with customer flow to minimize wait times and ensure a seamless experience.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide information and guidance regarding services and processes.
• Provide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services.
• Screen applicants for financial assistance and determine eligibility for programs such as School Readiness, VPK, CSC Scholarship, Head Start and Early Head Start.
• Advocate for families, assess needs, and assist with enrollment, transfers, and service terminations.
• Maintain accurate family information in the Enhanced Field System (EFS) database.
• Support families with child developmental screenings and provide timely notifications about childcare status.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in CCR&R, eligibility determination, or childcare enrollment processes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRMs and cloud-based systems.
• Bilingual Spanish, preferred
