Job Description

One of TEKsystems customers is looking for a Senior Developer who will work on Agile team building new solution in AWS cloud environment. This developer will work with scrum team, and provide hands on serverless development building AWS lambda functions in Typescript/NodeJS using AWS CDK, Github action for deployments.

Position Overview:

We are searching for a highly skilled AWS Developer with extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code, specifically with AWS CDK in Type Script. The ideal candidate should also have proficiency in C#, .NET Core 8.0 or higher. Understanding of the Angular Framework is a plus. This role requires a fast learner who can work independently with minimal oversight and has a strong emphasis on code quality analysis, including Sonar Qube, Unit Testing, and Code Coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure, like Cognito, ECS, ECR, EC2s, FSX etc. using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in Type Script.

• High proficiency with container orchestration with ECS.

• Implement and maintain backend solutions using C# and .NET Core 8.0 or higher.

• Develop and maintain frontend solutions using the Angular Framework.

• Ensure high code quality standards using Sonar Qube/CodeQL, Unit Testing, and Code Coverage tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and application development.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with AWS and deploying infrastructure using AWS CDK in Type Script.

• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core 8.0 or higher.

• Solid experience with the Angular Framework for frontend development.

• Strong understanding of code quality analysis tools such as Sonar Qube.

• Experience with unit testing and code coverage best practices.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in the energy sector or related industries.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
