7. Please note that no public transportation comes out to our location, personal vehicle or reliable transportation is required.
Canadian Golf & Country Club is seeking an Apprentice/Assistant/Associate Golf Professional. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who works well as a team and an individual and who has excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
Location Canadian Golf & Country Club Posted Deadline Job Summary The Assistant or Apprentice Golf Professional supports the Golf Professionals in daily golf operations, instruction, and member services at the Canadian Golf & Country Club. This role helps with daily operations in the pro shop, and provides golf instruction to members and guests. A great position for someone looking for experience in various PGA of Canada Specializations.
ResponsibilitiesGolf Operations & Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
- Enforce course policies, etiquette, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in managing driving range operations.
- Conduct private and group lessons for players of all skill levels.
- Help organize junior programs, clinics, and member golf development initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest golf instruction techniques and technology.
- Assist in pro shop operations, including sales, inventory, and merchandising.
- Promote and sell golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Process transactions and provide product recommendations to members and guests.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- PGA of Canada Member in good standing or a candidate actively pursuing entry into the PGA of Canada (PGM program student).
- Experience with Lightspeed Golf Management software and POS systems is an asset.
- Experience with Trackman is an asset
- Club Fitting courses and experience is an asset
$18-40/Hour
