We’re located in West Palm Beach Florida, St. Thomas USVI, St. Croix USVI, and Anguilla BVI.

This position is responsible for delivering products safely to our customers at designated customer sites. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, cycle counting, and order picking.
Must be able to operate a 14-foot delivery truck with a 5-speed manual transmission.

• Works with the Director of Operations and the Warehouse Manager, scheduling loads, protecting inventory, and improving the receiving and dunnage process.
• Maintains general condition and care of equipment: documents damage, wear, or mechanical issues.
• Reports and documents all accidents and damage to the appropriate manager. Assist in investigating incidents.
• Works with the Managers to maximize productivity based on expected shipments, load requirements, and pickup schedules.
• Ensures the product is loaded according to supplier standards.
• Positions trucks for loading and unloading; secures equipment, including all vehicles, by removing keys and locking doors.
• Maintains a regular truck wash schedule of freight equipment.

• Must be able to operate a 14-foot delivery truck with a 5-speed manual transmission.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Class A - Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Preferred at least one year of previous experience as a delivery driver.
• Preferred working knowledge of DOT processes.
• Preferred prior delivery experience, preferably in a food distribution environment.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme temperature conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
  
  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
