the position involves operating various vehicles and equipment such as backhoes, tractors with attachments, crew cabs, and dump trucks. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip inspections, minor maintenance, and cleaning of equipment. Additionally, the role requires using hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools to maintain bridges and roadways.

annual salary range
$36,485.69 - $47,216.78
a competitive area differential (cad) additive in the amount of $1,934.40 will be added to the annual salary.
your specific responsibilitiesupon receipt of the required cdl instructional permit or license, operates a variety of vehicles and mechanized equipment to include backhoe, tractors with attachments, crew cabs and dump truck. Performs pre-trip inspection/minor maintenance on vehicles/equipment that they are operating. Cleans and washes equipment.
uses a variety of hand, pneumatic and electrical tools to maintain bridges and roadways. Performs independent manual labor incidental to job assignments at an intermediate level of complexity with minimal supervision.
performs rough carpentry, masonry, painting and/or assists in the assembly and erection of highway signs.
performs temporary traffic control (maintenance of traffic).
