Role Description The Route Coverage Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in West Palm Beach, FL. This position is responsible for covering customer delivery routes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery and pickup of uniforms, workwear, and facility service products. Day-to-day responsibilities include loading and unloading products, following established route schedules, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships through professional, service-oriented interactions.
The role also involves verifying inventory, handling customer account documentation, and reporting service or delivery issues to the local management team. The Route Coverage Specialist supports operational efficiency by adapting to different routes as needed, maintaining company vehicles in a safe and clean condition, and complying with all safety and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone.
- Route driving or delivery experience, including safe operation of company vehicles and adherence to route schedules and traffic regulations.
- Basic organizational and time management skills to handle multiple stops, manage documentation, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move bundles of uniforms, workwear, and facility products throughout the workday.
- Attention to detail for verifying orders, inspecting products, and ensuring accuracy of invoices and customer account information.
- Reliability and flexibility to cover various routes, handle changing priorities, and support the service team as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in route sales, delivery, or service industries is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and commitment to following safety guidelines and company procedures.
