Baggage Handler

The Baggage Handler is responsible for assisting airline passengers with proper handling, processing, and transportation of their luggage. Meet all arrivals as scheduled and assist passengers at baggage claim.

• Assist airline passengers with the proper handling, processing, and transportation of luggage.
• Meet arriving flights as scheduled and assist passengers at baggage claim.
• Load, unload, carry, and transport passenger luggage to and from designated areas.
• Handle oversized and specialty items, including skis, strollers, and pet kennels, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure passenger luggage is placed securely on the baggage handling system.
• Adhere to all airport, airline, and government policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with passengers.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, managers, and security personnel.
• Follow all safety guidelines and security requirements while performing job duties.
• Support daily baggage operations to ensure timely and efficient service for passengers.

Must be 18 years of age or older

• Customer Service Experience
• 1 yr of similar work experience
