The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

• Perform general warehouse and yard cleanup to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Complete custodial duties, including sweeping, trash removal, and cleaning work areas to company standards
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing materials and products within the warehouse and yard
• Support order fulfillment by helping assemble and prepare job lot orders
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, banding machines, and radial arm saws as trained and authorized
• Remove banding, stickers, empty pallets, and other debris from warehouse and yard areas
• Repair damaged pallets and prepare flatcars for removal from the yard
• Move products and materials to designated storage or staging locations
• Inspect work areas for safety concerns and report maintenance or repair needs to management
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE

1st Shift (Day)

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• Basic Qualifications:
  
  HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience
• Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work related instructions
• Requires the ability to follow instructions, drive forklift, and may occasionally operate a banding machine and radial arm saw
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function
• Background check and Drug test required
