OAI is seeking a Fiscal Administrative Coordinator at the West Plains Central Office in West Plains, MO.
Location(s):
West Plains Central Office; serving Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Texas, and Wright Counties
Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour (36 Hours per week; Monday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
ObjectivesSupports accounting department functions and Director of Fiscal Operations by providing accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reconciling and entering data, maintaining agency records. Also support administrative support by processing, maintaining, updating and aiding in completion of information and records for the agency as well as facility upkeep.
Education and ExperienceDouble-entry bookkeeping methods, financial record keeping application of basic accounting principles, and data entry procedures gained through any combination of 2 years post-secondary education in accounting or business administration or demonstrated on-the-job experience. High school diploma at a minimum is required.
Specific Responsibilities- Accounts Payable Processing:
Obtain authorization for payments, verify transaction documents, and input invoice details across appropriate funds, accounts and vendors. Producing checks, preparing documents, cost allocation and postings; payroll recordkeeping and review; tax and benefit compliance; financial system maintenance. Ensure documentation, schedule and prepare disbursements, post journal entries, post cash transaction in cash management. - Administrative Operations:
Reception and Communication serving as a first contact for clients, greeting the public and responding to inquiries in a friendly, empathetic, and objective manner. Phone system operations and cross county routing; appointment and waitlist management, program assistance, internal processing of mail, applications, and supporting documents. - Maintains records, file documents.
- Ensures account accuracy, checks work, assists and compiles materials as needed.
- Comply with regulatory requirements; increasing OAI corporate capacity and effectiveness; maintain and share professional and technical knowledge;
- Knowledge of accounting, management principles and methods including regulatory laws and program requirements.
