We are currently seeking a highly skilled Crane Operator to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects throughout Missouri.
DescriptionJob Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, including hydraulic, lattice boom, and tower cranes, to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and lifting plans to ensure proper execution of lifts.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on crane equipment to ensure safe and optimal performance.
- Work closely with signal persons, riggers, and site supervisors to coordinate lifts and maintain safe operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific requirements.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to minimize risks.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in general construction tasks when not operating the crane.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience operating cranes in heavy civil construction.
- NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification required.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, load calculations, and crane capacities.
- Ability to read and interpret lift plans, blueprints, and job site specifications.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception for precision operations.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Physical ability to work in demanding environments, including adverse weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
