The West Plains School District is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of 6th grade teacher at West Plains Middle School for the school year. Content area and grade level will be determined at a later date. Successful candidate(s) will possess the ability to actively engage students in the learning process and provide opportunities for students to achieve their maximum potential.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Missouri Learning Standards, Response to Intervention, and School Wide Positive Support System. The successful candidate will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support curriculum decisions and determine the effectiveness of instruction. West Plains Middle School houses approximately 550 students in grades 5-8. The position will remain posted until filled.
