Adjunct/Per Course Faculty, Mathematics (Summer/Fall 2026)

Missouri State University-West Plains seeks adjunct faculty to teach mathematics courses during the Summer and Fall semesters of 2026. The position is per‑course and will be appointed on a semester basis only.

• Teach the assigned mathematics course(s) in a classroom, online, blended, or interactive video format as scheduled.
• Grade student work in a timely manner and submit attendance and mid‑term/final grades by required deadlines.
• Complete course assessments on time and participate in required training.
• Be available to assist students with course‑related matters.

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a field approved by the Dean; a bachelor’s degree may be acceptable for certain subject areas.
• Relevant college‑level teaching experience or a willingness to gain such experience in mathematics.
• Valid teaching license or certification, if required, and the ability to provide official transcripts upon hire to comply with Missouri law.
