Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: West Plains, Missouri
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5×8 hours (08:00–17:00)
Core Responsibilities
Deliver radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician-approved plans.
Perform pretreatment procedures including CT simulation, MRI/PET support, tumor localization, and treatment site simulation.
Assist in designing and implementing treatment plans, including radiation dose calculations and plan verification.
Operate and maintain treatment units and record/verify systems (e.g., ARIA/Varis).
Support beam modification, positioning, and imaging procedures such as CBCT and block shaping.
Assist with internal radiation therapies including brachytherapy and intracavity/interstitial procedures.
Provide treatments for a wide range of oncologic conditions (e.g., lymphomas, leukemia, kidney cancer, brain tumors, total body/skin irradiation, stereotactic treatments).
Educate patients and families, ensure safety and radiation protection protocols, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and perform chart checks.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience.
Active ARRT (T) certification and BLS certification at submission.
Experience with treatment planning, dose calculations, imaging guidance, and radiation delivery.
Knowledge of radiation safety, isolation precautions, and emergency response protocols.
Ability to operate treatment systems and equipment such as linear accelerators and record/verify platforms
