Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Three shifts per week (3x12s) schedule

• 13-week contract assignment

• Every other weekend required with 6-7 weekend shifts per contract

• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends

• 48 hours of orientation provided

• Minimum 1 year experience required in both Med Surg AND Telemetry

• Missouri nursing license or Compact license required at time of submission

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and SAFE (SAFE provided at facility)

• Navy blue scrub color required

• Floating required only if census does not support maintaining on unit

• On-call required only if census does not support

• Must have previous travel experience - no first-time travelers accepted

• 60-mile radius restriction with no exceptions

• Local candidates not accepted

• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Skills include cardiac monitoring, emergency services, IV therapy, phlebotomy, respiratory care, and wound management

• Daily census of approximately 20 patients

• Keep requested time off to minimum with any RTO requiring pre-approval
