About the JobJoin the family‑oriented maintenance team at NHC in West Plains. This role involves personal contact with residents and a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations. You must be able to work as part of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
Position Highlights- Heavy duty cleaning, light grounds care, maintenance of institutional equipment.
- Keep records of work performed.
- Coordinate work with other departments so as not to interrupt patient care or normal business functions.
- Able to be on call for emergencies.
- Perform or direct duties concerned with maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveways, etc. (Unable to perform if the work is under service contract).
- Maintenance experience preferred, not required.
- H‑VAC experience preferred, not required.
- High school graduate or graduate of a technical school.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals; knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.
