This is an entry level Yard/Warehouse position focused on receiving, stocking, shipping, and inventory control, including safe operation of a forklift to stock lumber and building materials.

• Operate forklift and other facility equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials; count and record receipt.
• Stock all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations; assist inventory control with counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment; assist with trash disposal and bay/staging area organization.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to colleagues and supervisors.
• Assist with building outgoing orders or loading completed orders onto delivery equipment as needed.
• Monitor inventory as required by location management and maintain awareness of work environment to produce accurate, damage-free results.
• Operate facility equipment such as bands, power tools, and various hand tools as required.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Basic math, reading orders, and ability to complete forms.
• Ability and willingness to learn to read a tape measure.
• Effective and professional communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
• Constructive conflict handling and problem recognition.
• Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g., smartphones, inventory control systems, and other business applications).
