Summary
The Line Off Inspector position will be responsible for completing daily inspection procedures for the FIL department.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Perform inspections according to guidelines:
- Inspect each vehicle completely in assigned area in a prompt, detailed manner, in accordance with customer guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Perform inspection per Standardized Work Instruction Sheet
- Record any defects found outside company specifications per Glovis policies and procedures
- Must learn each inspection position completely, and apply knowledge learned in performing job
- Work closely and communicate effectively with internal/external customers:
- Work closely with Glovis and KMMG members on the FIL line to ensure quality vehicles are produced
- Communicate any issues found with Glovis and KMMG team members to ensure that defects outside of Glovis specifications are noticed and repaired
- Record defects on provided forms
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to read and write and interpret and follow verbal and/or written instructions Required
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Required
- Must be able to handle simple issues drawing from past experiences Required
- Must be detail oriented and safe conscious Required
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays Required
- Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within changing priorities Required

Education & Experience
- Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license Required
- High School Diploma/G.E.D Preferred
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience Preferred

Working and Environmental Conditions
This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Ability to operate a scanner/printer
