Maintenance Technician III- Reliability

Summary Assures that the department of responsibility's equipment is maintained for maximum available production capacity. Responsibilities
* Verifies Preventative Maintenance work orders are properly matched to the equipment in the area.
* Follow through for accurate Countermeasures on Major Breakdown Reports
* Ensures adequate spare parts are available
* Manages any ongoing projects in the department
* Interacts with Vendors and Contractors for related work in the Department
* Understanding and implementation of a safe work environment
* Schedules shutdown work with Planners
* Assists with creation of One Point Lessons and Standard Operating Procedures for tasks necessary for more efficient repair and troubleshooting
* Ensures that department is kept in a clean 5s standard
* Works closely with Maintenance Supervisor on communicating work load and recommended improvements
* Requires On Call availability Knowledge and Skills *

Effective written/oral communication
* Good working knowledge of computer applications
* Technical/analytic skills
* 5-8 years related experience including good working knowledge of PLC's, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment. Must have had an effective background in environmental safety and supervision.

Education and Experience
* High School Diploma
* 5-8 years related experience including good working knowledge of PLC's, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
* Must have had an effective background in environmental safety and supervision Technician MUST HAVE Boiler operation experience. Do not apply if not experienced. Physical Requirements Able to spend time walking the production areas, talking with operators and maintenance associates, can climb 3 floors of stairs, able to climb ladders. Use small hand tools and meters for performing evaluations, calibrations, and troubleshooting.

Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed. Ability to travel for training assignments to overseas facilities or corporate headquarters. Otherwise - limited domestic travel for educational, technical, or business related opportunities.
