ND Defense is looking for qualified assemblers. This position connects parts into more complex components and ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
• Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
• Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.
• Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.
• Check output to ensure highest quality.
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
• Operate overhead cranes and hand tools
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity.
• Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision in order to produce complex outputs by putting together smaller components.
• Proven experience as assembler in automotive or mechanical settings
• Ability to use tools (e.g., clamps) and machines (e.g., presses)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• High school diploma generally required, a higher degree from a technical school preferred
• Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, work in extreme cold and hot temperatures, squat, kneel, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time
