Grocery Manager

The Grocery Manager will supervise grocery operations, and they are responsible for maintaining store standards, maximizing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Oversee the daily workflow of the grocery stock crew.
• Assign staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure the backroom is clean and organized.
• Lead stockers in the operations of each assigned aisle.
• Recommend discipline and termination of employees by partnering with the Store Manager as needed and in accordance with policy.

• Ensure consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences; resolve any customer service issues, complaints, or requests.
• Continually seek merchandising techniques to maximize sales in the Grocery department.
• Display all Ad planner items and ensure the surveyed product is on the sales floor.
• Ensure all assigned orders are completed as scheduled.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the store backroom.
• Assist with inventory numbers for the assigned department.
• Track stock levels, place orders, and ensure shelves are properly stocked.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket.
