St. Francis Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a combined ER / Med Surg role within a Critical Access Hospital setting. The RN will provide emergency and acute medical-surgical care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced rural healthcare environment.

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting to the ER

• Deliver Med Surg care including assessments, medication administration, and treatments

• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

• Provide patient and family education

• Active RN license (Nebraska or compact state)

• ER and Med Surg experience required

• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

• Ability to work independently in a Critical Access setting

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

• 13-week travel contract

• 36 hours per week

• 12-hour night shifts
