Duties
Manage the care of patients with complex and multifaceted medical and surgical needs, applying advanced clinical expertise and judgment.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to detect subtle and critical changes in patient conditions.
Interpret lab results and other findings and report them to the healthcare provider when those findings indicate a deterioration of the patient's condition.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for high-risk patients.
Provide leadership within the unit, mentoring junior nursing staff and serving as a resource for complex clinical situations.
Promote quality assurance initiatives within the unit, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
