Maintenance Technician

AHI, a member of The Baillie Group, is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team in West Point, VA. This is a full-time opportunity with a world-class hardwood lumber manufacturer, offering the chance to work in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

• Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
• Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore systems to optimal operation.
• Provide comprehensive mechanical and electrical/electronic support across all areas of manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment, including but not limited to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Associate degree or technical certification in electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic fields preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding and/or mechanical experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and effectively support line operators in troubleshooting and repair activities.
