The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for quoting and closing sales. The Company expects the Inside Salesperson to provide the highest level of customer service to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and teammates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support and coordinate responses to all requests from assigned customers.
- Communicate product specifications, applications, and life cycle information.
- Assist customers in determining the best solutions for their needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries for information.
- Manage online inventory and email communication primarily.
- Provide product availability and pricing information.
- Qualify leads through prospecting calls and drive them through the sales pipeline.
- Stay informed on industry changes and developments.
- Keep management updated with activity reports.
- Collaborate with Support, Community Management, Account Management, and Business Development teams.
- Participate in related projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related or technical field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of distribution sales experience.
- Steel Pipe sales experience.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to embrace new ideas.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team, handling multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Respond to customer inquiries and prepare sales quotes.
- Build strong relationships with customers.
Salary Range: $70K - $120K
