Journeyman Commercial HVAC

Commercial HVAC Service Technician role at EMCOR Services Mesa Energy, responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

• Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment
• Responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance: vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems

• 5+ years of field experience as a Licensed Journeyman in HVAC
• Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License
• Commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
• Knowledge and experience in proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices for all work assignments
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record
• Participates in ongoing training to remain current on new equipment and software

Hourly rate: $21.25 - $64.37 per hour (determined by CBA/rate sheet and test results). Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
