CDL-A Truck Driver Linehaul

Job Description

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our West Sacramento, CA Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn‑point locations, and returning home daily.

Starting pay is $37.04 per hour.

• CDL Class A license
• 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years
• Age 23, or 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must pass pre‑employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must pass a successful road test
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz‑mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz‑mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
