Overview
Nonprofit Organization. We’re seeking an Accounting Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This role works closely with the Controller and plays a key part in month-end close, audits, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations
- Support audits and compliance requirements
- Help maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
- Supervise or review work of accounting staff as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
