Business Office Manager (BOM) - Skilled Nursing
We're seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee the daily business office operations of a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate has a strong background in skilled nursing billing, collections, and accounts receivable and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee billing, collections, and accounts receivable
- Work with residents and families regarding financial matters
- Coordinate insurance verification and authorizations
- Ensure accurate, compliant billing and business office processes
- Supervise and support business office staff
- Prepare reports and maintain financial records
- Previous Business Office Manager or senior business office experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility required
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billing
- Experience with electronic billing systems (Point Click Care or similar preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Finance or accounting background is a plus
- $50,000-$60,000 annually
