A historical museum is seeking a Costuming Summer Intern to research and construct costumes from the 1830s–1840s. The intern will create a completed garment for use in living history programming while supporting day-to-day costuming needs. The internship lasts from mid-May to mid-August, offering a stipend of $1,200. Ideal candidates will have a background in fashion or costume design and strong sewing skills.
Responsibilities include researching historical costumes and assisting with garment care and fitting.
