Job Overview
Join us at The Big E Job Fair on August 18, 2026 from 10am-1pm. Serve as one of the first points of contact for fairgoers by selling admission tickets in temperature‑controlled booths. This role combines customer service with accurate cash and credit card transaction handling.
Position Responsibilities- Sell admission tickets at entrance booths
- Assist guests and resolve ticketing issues
- Understand and communicate discount days and promotions
- Answer basic fair‑related questions
- Reconcile cash and transactions at the end of shifts
- Superior Customer Service Skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods in a small admission booth either alone or with another seller (ticket booths are climate controlled)
- Basic familiarity with POS systems and electronic devices
- Cash handling and basic math skills
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age by September 1, 2026
