Kindergarten Teacher – John Ashley Kindergarten

Classroom Duties:

• Provide explicit instruction in school readiness, emotional regulation, social skills, and academic skills.
• Provide individualized instruction, social‑emotional learning, and play‑based learning using an integrated instructional approach.
• Direct and guide paraprofessionals in supporting students.
• Continuously supervise and monitor students to maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
• Massachusetts DESE Early Childhood Teacher License (PreK‑2), with or without disabilities required.
• SEI Endorsement required.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
