MATH TEACHER
West Springfield High School

West Springfield High School is seeking a dynamic and student centered Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment, supporting diverse learners, and delivering engaging, standards based instruction.

Responsibilities:

* Teach assigned mathematics classes at designated times and locations

* Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students' developmental levels

* Plan and deliver standards aligned lessons that support district curriculum goals

* Establish and communicate clear learning objectives for lessons and units

* Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet diverse student needs

* Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback and required reports

* Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

* Maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with district and state requirements

* Ensure the safety and well-being of students, materials, and school facilities

Qualifications:

* Massachusetts D.E.S.E. Certification in Mathematics 9-12

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

* Familiarity with Illustrative Mathematics curriculum is desired

Salary:
Per Unit A Contract (Salary Range:$53,939.00 - $)
